I'm embarrassed that I actually stayed to the end. This show was SO bad. I kept waiting for an "Ah ha!" moment of brilliance like at the end of "The Sixth Sense" when it all comes together, makes sense and my jaw hits the floor....More

We were deciding which show to see behind the red stairs. One of the guys standing there came up to us to talk to us about the shows. He really bigged up 'The perfect crime' but we weren't convinced. We were thinking of 'School of...More

This play was the only disappointing part of my first trip to NYC. The plot was very hard to follow; the dialogue was hurried and difficult to understand. The woman who plays the lead needs to take a breather from her part...she has been doing...More

I'd have to agree, this one you can skip. It's been playing for 30 years... no idea how. The theater was shabby and dirty, the acting wasn't bad but the play was bad. Lead actress talked super fast and hardly let her costars get their...More

The theater was 1/3 full. A warning? I think I would like to read this play and see if it might work as a community theater piece. I know actresses who could be more diabolical and sensuous. This cast was phoning it in, marking the...More

The play was truly amazing. Got me interested from the beginning until the end. Lots of details to understand the twist on the plot which was interesting and fun. Recommend it. Great actors, storyline and scenography. Go see it!

If you read the other reviews they are mostly accurate. The acting isn't as bad as some of the reviews indicate The plot is confusing, even when the whole thing is unraveled things just don't make any sense. Also, once the whole plot is revealed...More

My mom and I are avid Agatha Christie readers and have seen The Mousetrap in London. There are few crime writers we haven't read between the two of us so this should have been right up our alley. The writing isn't great, the dialogue was...More

How is it possible that this play is still running after 30 years. Confusing plot - don't know who done it and don't care .

Tickets should never be available by TKTS. What a rip off. The guy helping outside TKTS claimed it was a great "murder mystery, appropriate for kids 11 and up." One of our kids (14) fell asleep. The acting is awful, the plot is worse. The...More
