after a late show me and my friends decided to stop up on the 47th floor to see the "view". we were seated and started our 1 hour journey around the city. the food was preaty good, me eating the meatballs and my friend not eating at all. the real thing that we loved was the view of all of... More

The food was cold Service was not real great and we did not even get what we ordered. The steak was a NY strip and should have been a Rib-Eye. It was over cooked and cold. Go for the view, not the food.

We planned the meal before leaving the UK and paid what we thought was the price for the whole meal, obviously without drinks. Here's the catch... We weren't told that would limit our choices from a different fixed price menu and having been shown the full one, we'd all selected from this. Long story short, we said sod it and... More

We went here after a show--this is one of the best revolving views of NYC I know. Go here, have a drink, and enjoy--but it's not cheap. Sodas are $6.00. But it is a beautiful view.

We try to make it there for brunch whenever we go to NYC with the kids. The view is awesome and the room slowly spins so you can see all angles of the city. The kids love the brunch because it has so much to offer.

Went here last week with two friends, It's expensive and we had to pay the 'cover charge' as we arrived after 8 o'clock. Both of these things we knew about, but we decided to go anyway, just for the experience. I must say, it definitely wasn't as swish as I expected, in fact in parts, it's shabby. We decided not... Don't get me wrong. The view is simply amazing and is probably one of the best (if not the best) of New York City. But I personally wouldn't give the restaurant a 3/10 for the food or value.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
