This is a creative way to present off-Broadway productions at a reasonable price in a decent venue. OK, you don't get the charm of one of the old theaters, but you also get a large lobby, nice restrooms, no crowding and decent seats at a...More

Saw a terribly disappointing production here but really liked the New World Stages building itself. It's great to have a location with the flexibility to house smaller productions. Personnel were deployed to encourage exiting patrons to be quiet, a nice touch to prevent noise from...More

I was so excited to see Puffs and it didn't disappoint. Very humorous and excellent references for any fan of Harry Potter. Staff in the venue were lovely, chatty and welcoming. Theatre and facilities were well kept and clean. Bar and snack service delivered right...More

Not for the prudish muppets our there. New world theatres is a great venue with several different theatres in the one building underground. The show itself was very entertaining, funny, musical and with a message! Loved it, well worth going to see.

This latest incarnation of A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess comes to The New World Stages after a successful Norway and UK run with its original leading actor, Jonno Davies and Director, Alexandra Spencer-Jones. This is perhaps not a re-staging of the highly controversial 1962...More

It's a nice clean and comfortable venue. It's a converted movie theater and down a few stories underground. But there's plenty of different stages and the sound system was good and the seating was comfortable. Almost every seat is a decent seat.

We were a group of 11 women on a girls trip to NYC. Our tour bus was hit by a car which made it so we were an hour late for our show. This theatre was kind enough to switch our tickets to the evening...More
