I'm sorry that the guests from the UK were not treated graciously. Unfortunately, the church does not have an indoor waiting area. As a former Senior Lady Usher, I would like to believe that someone would have assisted your daughter to a more comfortable waiting...More

I am a member of the Abyssinian Baptist Church. I go there most Sunday Mornings and most Wednesday Evenings for a less formal, more musical worship service. I see that people are trying to sell packages and tours to go to this church when (1)...More

We arrived with 1 hour before start time and lined up in the street. Tip - think about a hat as it was hot and there was very little shade. After being given a pass (some people missed out) we eventually went in. Once seated,...More

We did not get to go inside but enjoyed looking at the architecture and hearing the history of the church and prominent members.

The visitor-line of Tourist is awful and most of them are not informed on the rules of the church. Songs were nice, its a regular church and should be handled as so.

This is the best church to watch a service. The minister is absolutely great and you do not need to be Catholic to enjoy the gospel. One needs to make reservation and arrive early.

There is no doubt this is a community church first, they are strict on what is ok! That said we were able to leave our backpack at a store around the corner for a small tip (I don't know there babe but they deserve loads...More
