Today, Circle Line is the only cruise line dedicated exclusively to sightseeing, with vessels made of steel and over-sized glass windows that offer magnificent views of the Manhattan skyline, all year round. Owned and operated by New York Cruise Lines Inc., New York's oldest and largest provider of scheduled and chartered sightseeing and special event cruises, Circle Line is recognized as one of the most famous boat rides in the world.

Sightseeing Tour Options:

All Circle Line vessels offer first-class service, the best viewing opportunities and an entertaining, informative tour given by professional guides.

Best of NYC Cruise - Take in over 101 city sights by water, including the Intrepid, Yankee Stadium, the Cloisters and a magnificent close-up of the Statue of Liberty.

Landmark Cruise- Witness magnificent views of the world's premier skyline and such sights as the Empire State Building, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Liberty Cruise - The fastest and best way to see the Statue of Liberty! Sail down the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty and back, and view Ellis Island, the rising Freedom Tower and the World Financial Center, along the way.

Harbor Lights Cruise - For something a bit more romantic, sail the same route as the Landmark Cruise while the sun sets and the skyline comes alive.

The Beast Speedboat Ride - The Beast leaves all others in its wake as the Captain takes this custom-built 70-foot offshore racing powerboat up to 45 mph on a ride down to the Statue of Liberty.

Circle Line looks forward to introducing you to New York.

You get to see the city from both sides of the boat, the commentator was amazing and had a way of talking that seemed more like a friend pointing out points of interest then somone reading from a script. It's a great way to get an overview of one of the most famous skylines in the world.

Awesome way to get another perspective on NYC. Fantastic commentary mixing fact and humour. Great pace giving you plenty of time to take in the sites and what sites, the lights of NYC are something to behold. Well priced. There is plenty of seating and with huge windows on all sides of the boat even bad weather won't stop you... More

This is a must do. Tale the full ZNYC tour its a great way to spend 2 1/2 hours learning about the history & detailed info on NYC. I've been to NYC at least 50+ times, but never did this. What a pleasant experience. The guide, David, was super knowledgeable. I recommend spending a few extra $'s and get the... More

My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the United States. But I must admit that I wasn't overly thrilled with my visits to New Orleans and New York City. In my view, the best way to see New York, aside from the air, is via a Circle Line cruise around Manhattan Island. I can't tell you how much I... More

We took the liberty cruise at 12pm from Pier 83. Just before we boarded the boat, we were made to stand infront of a green background and a photo snap was taken of us. During the hour long cruise ride, the crew staff came around asking us as to whether we wanted to buy the photo for $20. When everyone... More

We did the harbor lights cruise and LOVED it! We witnessed some of the greatest views of the city and learned a lot of fun facts through the commentary. Saw tons of the major landmarks - including the Statue of Liberty up close! Highly recommend!! Make sure you go out on the bow at the front of the boat when... More

Seeing New York by boat is a great way to get around and see alot of it in a short space of time and get detailed information. The tour guide Chris was very nice and well informed. We got a great view of the skyline and the bridges. Depending on what timing you go, there's different routes and different durations... More

We stumbled across the Circle Line Tours after we visited USS Intrepid, and found they were at a nearby pier. As it turned out the tours were included as part of our New York Pass (which I also highly recommend to help you get the most out of a New York visit). We took the Best of New York City... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
