My son gifted us with a tour of chocolate in Brooklyn. We visited Jacques Torres in Dumbo, The Chocolate Room in Cobble Hill, Raaka Chocolate in Red Hook and Li-Lac in Industry City. The tour guide stopped at Valentino Pier for pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and didn't eat our lunch until 4:00!

If you can, request Alex as your guide. He was very knowledgable and threw in historical tidbits all along the way. He also speaks French, Spain, German, and English. And the chocolate treats were amazing! Just the right amount of walking and indulging.

Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. It helps if it's a beautiful day because it's a lot of walking but very enjoyable! My only recommendation would be that the company gets each store to maybe provide something a little more unique or special as a treat. But overall great job.

After a Wickedly cold bout of snow that broke records it was fun to have an almost Springlike Sunday afternoon tour. We met up outside the Chelsea Market at 4pm on Sunday February 23, 2014. I wish we had allowed ore time beforehand to wonder in the Market! There was a large group waiting with 2 tour guides leaning against... More

Alex was a great tour guide! He was not only funny but full of interesting facts! My friends and I had a great time and enjoyed all of the treats! I also purchased several things to bring home because the shops were wonderful! We are going to do more tours like this and we are hoping to get Alex again!

The tour started in front of Chelsea Market. Multiple stops including chocolate shops, bakeries, etc. (Magnolia Cup Cakes, Chocolate Bar, LiLac, Milk and Cookies, to name a few). Some spots give you a large sample - others just a tiny bit. The Chocolate Bar's liquid chocolate was a bit watery - not thick as we've had in other places. Justin... More

Walter our guide was terrific. Knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Great info about the parts of the city we ventured around and pertinent facts as they relate to the places we sampled and hung out at. Pace was great and if you wanted to shop a little at the stores there was ample time to do so. Hands down the best... More

A great way to spend a beautiful day in downtown NYC. The tours go rain or shine we just got lucky with the weather. The first walk is the longest our guide Alex was part comedian (Hudson River that we see was discovered by Henry Hudson, guess the natives never saw it) and informative NYC is planned on a grid... This tour is worth the 2-for-One deal we got via Groupon (Chocolate Tour of NYC) while recently visiting "The Big Apple". It is offered by Great Tours, and it was very interesting. Our tour guide, Brandon, was very knowledgeable about chocolate, including its history, where it comes from, and other interesting chocolate facts. He provided very interesting information throughout our... More
