My son's first trip to NYC and with so many choices of plays, it was nice to see a classic. There is a reason this play has been here for so long. The actors and set were amazing. Nice theater and even though we were about 10 rows from the top, we had a great view and we could hear... More

This is a classic Broadway musical that is a must see if you haven't seen it before. The music, the acting, the whole production is simply breathtaking.

We stayed in NYC for 6 nights and a play at the Broadway was a must. We got in line early (9:30) for the TKTS counter at Times Square for afternoon tickets. We got tickets for 108 $ and were excited to see the show. We were not disappointed. Our 11 year old son enjoyed the show to the max... More

Theater at its best. The music, the actors, the dancing -- all excellent quality. These features combined with the emotion of the story and the wonderful set work and they seem to have captured the best magic of theater. Our group of 5 included two kids ages 12 and nine and three adults, all of whom we're captivated throughout. As... More

For anyone who has not seen the show and is thinking is it worth it I can tell you the answer is a re-sounding yes . Sitting in front mezzanine near center which commands a great view of the stage we sat back and enjoyed a wonderful performance by the cast . The set , effects and of course music... More

I'm not a fan of musicals. The other reviews discuss "if you see just one show; this is it"...so I went. Sure the special effects, staging and costumes were very good but bottom line is that 95% of the dialogue is sung and sung in an opera style. I couldn't make out the words or the story or the reason... More

Wonderful show performance. Talented performers, super orchestra, awesome costume and wardrobe. We attended the 7pm performance in March, 2017. Arrived via Uber at 6:45 and panicked because the line to get in " standing outside"was LONG. It moved swift, but I was a tad nervous upon arrival. Our seats were superb, by far the best location for optimal sound and... More

On this night of my 6th viewing of Phantom. The cohesiveness with the company was amazing! Raoul the correct age and in amazing voice! James Barbour with amazing voice has found his stride with a spot on capture of the man in the shadows. This show is still running for a reason! I has thought, humor, love and amazing music!... Sometimes one has to break down and let loose. Phantom was the extra special event of this trip. Live orchestra, outstanding choral music, acting, costuming and stage props made for a wonderful evening.

Booked prior to arrival to NYC, managed to get tickets for the 9th row Orchestra. Brilliant seats they did cost €800 for 4 but well worth the money. The theatre was smaller than expected which we preferred. The performance was absolutely amazing, flawless, my teenage daughter a massive fan thought it was fabulous.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
