Interesting theater venue, up to 5 separate venues, always changing shows every couple months. Nothing planned on Saturday I decided to see All the Fine Boys last minute, very small theater with regular chairs. Play itself starring Abigail Breslin was pretty good, more in depth then I thought it would be, definitely worth checking out before it ends end of... More

Came to see All The Fine Boys this weekend. The establishment itself was decent. Had a cafe, bookstore, and a couple of theaters. My biggest complaint was that we couldn't get out tickets until an hour before our play started which is ridiculous. We got a will call email that never mentioned that. We made a special trip up to... More

The Signature is always a great place to see a play. It was originally set up as a place where regular people can go without paying standard Broadway prices. We have gone there often and usually the show is terrific, The cafe is nice before or even better after when the drinks are 1/2 price.

New York has so many theaters, many in unexpected areas. This theater complex is on 42nd street on the far west side. Not only does it contain a number of smallish theaters, but is also has rehearsal space for rent. The book store within the theater complex is very theater oriented with many scripts for sale as well as other... More

This is a great place to see theatre, especially those produced by Signature Theatre or their partners. The lobby serves three different theatres, and has a combination of couches, tables and chairs, a bookstore, and a cafe. It's a warm, friendly place to hang out if you have extra time before or after the show.

We went to see Master Harold and the Boys, which was terrific. It is great to have the small cafe with real music to duck into before the performance. Ticket prices are reasonable and the seating couldn't be better. We will definitely return for other shows.

We have been to this complex of small theaters twice, most recently last week to see "Small Mouth Noises". The cost of attending a performance here is considerably less than a Broadway show. My wife liked this show a lot, but I found it a bit embarrassing in that it seemed to make fun of the religion of the characters,... More

This space is well lit modern and very comfortable. We have seen terrific shows in all of their spaces - the bar and lounge seating is comfortable. The theater seats are comfortable and the sight lines are very good. The restrooms are convenient and well located. If you have tickets waiting they are efficiently and swiftly handed to you at... This is a great theater that is willing to try some different shows. The lobby bar is awesome - make sure you arrive early and enjoy the vibe! The play is a bonus!

The Signature Theater's production of Old Hats is the best show I've seen in a long time. Bill Irwin and David Shiner are wonderfully funny mimes originally from San Francisco. They've performed together for years and are still fresh and hysterically funny. Shaina Taub and her band are a great addition and fun to see as well.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
