I was in NYC by myself and wanted to see some shows as inexpensively as possible. The TKTS booth had a ticket for this show at $91. I decided to try the box office instead. They do not do RUSH tickets for this show, but they do have an online lottery. Since I just needed one seat I walked in... More

I´ve seen a lot. And, of course, it´s up to you, to what you think. We are all different. Unfortunately, it´s at the end all about the money. Now "Broadway" seems to be going down a bit, not on top. (Check off-Broadway, or better in Europe, a lot of interesting things is happening in the former East-European countriies.) But this... More

From beginning to end, this spectacular show was very entertaining and visually stunning! The talented cast really connected with the audience. The only issue was with the Al Hirschfeld Theatre's seats being too small and cramped. They were probably more suitable for a child or smaller adult. Overall, a fabulous show with a lot of glitz and glamour to keep... More

This was a awesome show! I loved everything about it...start to finish. The cast was fun, engaging and so talented! I have been to a lot of Broadway shows and this is one I would go see again in a heartbeat! See it!

Totally entertaining humorous story enacted enchantingly by great actors. Simon aka Lola stole the show by his enthralling enactment of a Tranvestite. The rest of the cast did a great portrayal of their characters. Bright colourful vibrant musical that has a great score. Cyndie Laupers music was captivating from start to finish. A must see if you are in NYC.

The show would have got 5/5, had it not been for a few slow portions. The majority of it is a great deal of fun and the singing and dancing first class. I'd recommend this to those of you who aren't closed minded and get offended at a bunch of transvestites on stage.

I've seen many shows on broadway but kinky boots was by far and away the best how I've ever seen. From the music, set design and the company, i.e. Was non stop fun and entertainment. Someone reviewed this and said"if you like drag shows, you'll like kinky boots. That could not be further from the truth. If you like stories about... More

Great matinee. Stellar performances by the whole cast. Interesting performance to remind audience to turn off cell phones. One of the only ways to get discount tickets to shows is via TKTS booths in NYC, we got ours at Times Square location. The TKTS app was handy in letting us know what was available, walked up to kiosk and got... More

You'll love it if you like drag shows. My family and I watched his in a theatre in Broadway. Really enjoyed it. Main drag queen voice was wonderful. Some of the actors had weak voices honestly. I'd say just a couple had really nice voices! But overall was a charming/ funny/entertaining show and worth watching!

After reading many reviews of Broadway shows, we chose Kinky Boots, and I highly recommend it! The music is amazing, the performers were awesome, loved the way they changed the stage so quickly. The theater is small therfore all seats will give you a good view; one thing, the seat is tiny, my knees were almost touching the seat in... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
