MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL is the real story of the one-of-a-kind sound that hit the airwaves in 1959 and changed our culture forever. This exhilarating show charts Motown Founder Berry Gordy's incredible journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and so many more.

So many other great shows to see on Broadway. Unless you REALLY REALLY love that music, skip this show and see something with a good story.

Hesitated to go as I had heard some negative comments, but was so glad that I went. Fantastic. If you love Motown music it is a must see. The singers/dancers were amazing. You'd swear young Michael Jackson was on that stage. Can't say enough about...More

My wife and had looked forward to this musical for so long, but it really disappointed us as it spent more time on Gordy's relationship with Diana Ross than the music. There were bits of Motown magic, but not worth the ticket price.

Excitement from start to finish. When in New York we like to experience a show which may not come down under ...I sincerely hope for my Aussie friends that Motown comes down under.
