Neighbourhood: Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

    🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵 5-star = can’t wait to return #EverydayKidsTravel
🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵 5-star = can’t wait to return If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! It’s my favorite store in NYC. The Marvel figures, Ghost Busters, Mario, and the New York scenery fill up all the spaces like I’m in Legoland. There’s all kinds of legos to buy and my favorite part was being able to make my own custom mini figure. You can use their drawings but I created my own unique drawing. Now I have the only Lego like it in the whole world. #sylviatourstein #everydaykidstravel

Worth a stop if you are a Lego fan (and even if you are not)
We practically stumbled upon this store and, naturally, had to go in. An amazing tribute to Lego. We did not buy any sets but instead opted for creating some custom minifigs (that you can design right here on the spot). Great atmosphere, fun, and despite a queue at the door, customer service is friendly and very efficient.

Ok as a store but not that special
Fine but not that special. We went with my 6 year old grandson to the store by the Flatiron building on a recent weekday. He is a Lego fan and enjoyed looking at the various sets for sale (making his lists for future present requests) and the prebuilt statues. But not much more than that.

Take a look at the Lego store through a child’s eyes and see the magic of building with Lego bricks, whether it is a simple New York Taxi about $15 or larger builds

Even if you don’t but a Lego product, take the time to look around and enjoy

Crowded but fun. Even has a few places you can build your own Lego character by mix and matching parts or have them custom make one for you while you wait.

we wanted to visit the lego store near the rockefeller center saturday july 29th late afternoon. it was crowded and an hour wait. my son is disabled and has trouble getting around (I hold his hand). with a card of recognition of his handicap (we are French, this card is printed by the national printing works the same as that of the passports) we ask the employee if we could return. refusal of this person! I do not know if it is the choice of this employee or the policy of lego but the handicap is badly perceived and not recognized. nothing is set up for people with disabilities. store not visited. shame on that employee and shame on Lego!

Located across from rom St. Patrick's and Rockefeller Plaza., this store is just amazing with several floors of all types of Legos.

It is definitely worth checking out and bring the kids.

The store offer not only new and older pieces but has some amazing Lego setups including Batman, Empire State Building, Times Square and a Taxi you can sit in.

As a Lego collector and Lego Instagrammer I was really looking forward to my visit to the Rome Lego store. I brought my IG minifigure to pose in the store and thought I'd pick up some travelling friends for her. I was really disappointed to find the minifigure bins very empty with few accessories available and virtually no options for legs other than "dresses" and "kid" legs. Really not good options in building some cruising friends.
I took several photos around the store, made a video of LegoGirl by your Trevi Fountain etc and one of the staff said hello, but the others really just seemed disinterested...which seemed odd. I mean here's this 49 year-old woman (who speaks some Italian) who showed up with her own minifigure...surely I'm someone who likes Lego and would be a customer, right?
We left without buying anything. It was just a letdown. It felt just, sad.

Great store with 2 floors

We were lucky as didn’t have to queue to get in

My 18 year old waited and then gave up to try and play a game of chess as the game before his was intense

Managed to find a lego Statue of Liberty magnet to gift my girlfriend which she loved

No queues at the checkout and staff friendly
