Got advise from a couple from Scotland about going to the theater of my choice to obtain tickets - better pricing! So right! Actually was able to get GREAT seats for so much less than was quoted at tourist places that wanted to sell you tickets. I was also told I could not get one on Wednesday - which was... More

I can't fault the theatre itself or the show in any way as both were magical, however, after paying over $300 dollars for tickets I do not appreciate that even after an hour in to the show people were being ushered in that had arrived late blocking the view of a show that should be appreciated. Back in Scotland, where... More

Wicked at Gershwin Theatre wont' disappoint... it helps that Wicked is one of my favorite shows, but seeing it at Gershwin was a delight. Plenty of leg room, a large upstairs area, and of course the show was excellent. A must!

First Broadway show I've seen. Of course my teens have seen several through school. Very happy with our seats in the orchestra section. Didn't seam like there would be a bad seat in the house. Great play, performance. Have been to some other shows not in NYC and couldn't understand what they where saying. At the Gershwin I could understand... More

My friend absolutely loves this show and has seen it in London and Manchester but it was her dream to see it on Broadway. I'm not a musical person but I really enjoyed the show and my friend was thrilled to see it at the Gershwin. The theatre was spacious and the staff were helpful and friendly

Got tickets to Wicked on StubHub. Waited in a long line for them to tell me tickets on the phone (not printed) are not excepted. Had to go to the UPS store to get my tickets printed. I would have gladly paid the theater the $ I paid for the printing. The UPS store said they get tons of people... More

We went to see the 8pm show of Wicked. It was awesome. The lobby had good selection of souvenirs and you can take a picture on a green screen and they super impose Glinda and the Wicked Witch. Good picture but would have preferred if the characters in the picture were the ones on the stage. The beverages came in... More

With over 1,900 seats, having 2 restroom to serve 4 floors is ridiculous. There was only one intermission, you can imagine how long the line was. The seats are so jammed together, you would seriously annoy everyone in your row if you wanted to leave before the intermission or the end of the performance. The "security" at the front door... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
