I got my ticket as part of a NY Pass and if I had paid out of pocket for this, I would have been so angry. The "museum" encourages you to start with a drink in the bar. That should be an indication of the...More

I went in with a NYCP I would be disappointed if I had paid. It's ok not quite my thing really. Plenty of exhibits some a bit of a eye opener. Looks like they were still doing some of the exhibits or decorating parts of...More

This is a good way for adults with an open mind to spend an hour or so. Go to the back of the shop and get a wristband then go up the stairs. We went to the bar which is interesting, but s lightly disappointing...More

The Museum of sex is an ok place to spend an hour. Its a bit confusing where you actually go once you buy your tickets. Multi level...something different on each floor. The best way I can think of to describe the museum is.. a light...More

We spent a couple of hours here during a snow flurry. The collection made for an amusing and educational afternoon.

My husband and I visited here without knowing much about it because it sounded like kind of a novelty to do on our anniversary trip. If there was a 3.5 option, this is how I would rate it. It is a fun conversation starter for...More

Amy, thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. I'm pleased you had a fun experience and that you enjoyed the Night Fever exhibit in particular. It's a shame that you chose to round down your 3.5 review, rather than up! ;) I'd...More

Thought the place was kind of cool. Has neat exhibits and it's worth the time and money if your looking to kill a couple hours.

This museum has the potential to go places, but right now it is still a work in progress. The collection is interesting, with lots of different objects that can tickle anyone's fancy. The galleries are small but are full. There is a bouncy house that...More

Don't even think about going there, even the "discount" for less crowded hours is insulting. The store outside is better then the museum itself. I am so angry about this waste of money on myself.

The museum seems like a work in progress. There are some cool and interesting things to see, but it's not a mind blowing type place. Some neat oddities to spark a conversation. Staff were largely indifferent; price of admission does not include tax and a...More

It depends. There are postings next to many of the exhibits that you may want to take the time to read. There's a gift area too so I would plan on an hour for sure and maybe two if you do the interactive stuff or want a... More
