Iconic!

Part of the many attractions in Central Park, this fountain is near the Loeb Boathouse and the famous tunnel under the long row of chairs always featured in NYC-set movies.

The Bethesda Terrace (or fountain) is one of Central Park's quintessential landmarks, with its beautiful terrace, fountain, and views of the lake. It is considerably busier than some of the other parts of the park, but that's New York for you. It also seems to draw a considerable amount of street performers, for those who like that.

We went on a sunny day to view the Bethesda fountain and cloisters?/ terrace. There were many people there and there was fashion shoots and musicians to entertain. An Opera singing lady brought a tear to my eyes with the beauty of her voice and the Aria she was singing. I have been to Manhattan four times but never knew... More

As we approached this fountain we immediately recognised the back drop from Home Alone 2 and John Wick (and various other films). It's not amazing but well worth seeing.

The central part of the Bethesda Terrace, the fountain is in the center of a pool and it is said to be inspired b the Gospel of St. John. Beautiful from all angles, this fountain is a favorite of visitors to the park. It is likewise near the lake that adds more to the beauty of the structure.

It is the nicest central park has to offer. A great amount of nostalgia from friends and home alone. Under the tunnel near this fountain there are really nice mosaic tiles. Very pretty

Must see in NYC. Very popular NYC landmark seen in so many movies... Due to it's nature it is of course recommended to see during good weather. Not recommended after dark as most of Cental Park.

The fountain is located near the boathouse and the lake. It's a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the park and look back at the enormity of the city.

It's best when the fountain is flowing and the trees are green or on a cold, blue skied day. A nice space to hang, sun, marry, row a boat, walk a dog ,ride a bike. Go and relax as you walk thru Central Park .
