The Beacon itself is a great place to see a concert, but the security/crowd control is abysmal--they begin the show while there are still long lines waiting to get in (we arrived 20 minutes early and still missed the first two songs).

Really lovely interior, comfortable seats, good acoustics and sight lines. When you enter you don't notice the gorgeous mural painting above the door -- you see it when you're leaving, which is nice too! The security personnel were courteous and kept things orderly even with...More

Came here to see Above and Beyond and besides being a great performance, I loved the venue even more. Must come here at least once to see/hear anyone play just to see the insides of the venue. Relatively small theatre. Def recommend it.

This will be the theater I set as my standard. It is a beautiful place, the staff was friendly and attentive and it is really comfortable. I'm glad that I got there so early so I could watch all the details from the moment I...More

Gorgeous theater with stunning architecture. Feels intimate, so not many of the seats are bad. Definitely a cab ride away from the Chelsea Market area.

First visit to this classic theatre, you feel the history. Similar to the Count Basie in Red Bank. Took in Ludovico Einaudi & crew. Amazing talents, a must see. Ludo did not leave his piano bench for 2 hours straight, neither did the audience. Nice...More

My husband and I were the recipients of tickets to see Kevin James record his upcoming Netflix comedy special. The performance was AMAZING by both Kevin AND his opening act. Seats were not the greatest on the 2nd balcony, but we could still see the...More

Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the
Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a
quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of
downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the
city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the
American Museum of Natural History, which has been
welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for
over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center,

You can't bring in your own drinks. The reason? The profits made from RIDICULOUS prices... I paid $10 for 2 Diet Cokes! There is a bar at the theater.

I've never seen him in person and probably would never but comedy shows are not my thing. I would suggest calling the theater and see if they can help you. I personally would not take my children to see him.
