    Great forum, loved Sparks!
The beacon was well-ventilated and the ac was perfect. Sound in middle orchestra, row e was wonderful as were the sound effects. Sparks gave a terrific performance, Russell did not stop jumping and moving despite his 74 years of wear and tear. Both brothers gave it their all which was acknowledged by a very excited and appreciative audience. My seat was comfortable and the Beacon staff were very helpful and polite.

    Absolutely stunning
We have the wonderful pleasure of attending a performance. Y The Mavericks, a Latin Country Band and the acoustics were fabulous. Not a bad seat in the house. It is small and intimidate yet the glamour is that of a large place. Loved it. Will keep an eye out for potential other visits.

    Extremely kind and helpful staff
The venue is great for concerts as the sound is excellent and you could see the performers from anywhere in the venue. The staff at the venue were excellent. I was recently at the Hot Tuna cancert where most the audience were of a senior age and the staff were so kind and respectful helping the seniors and handicapped to their seats and giving guidance and directions. I can’t say enough about how the staff exceeded my expectations.

    First time at the Beacon
Had never been and was so impressed. Acoustics were great. Steep seating rows made for a unblocked view even towards the back. Could see Dylan’s face the whole time❤️. Beautiful ornate ceilings and walls

    Beautiful Theatre
We flew to NYC to see Nick Cave at The Beacon Theatre. It is such a lovely venue and we would definitely go to another concert there if we get the opportunity. Wonderful venue (be sure to stop by Miriam right next door for dinner).

I’ve been to many concert venues all over the country, and the Beacon sets the bar super high. It’s a gorgeous theater. Perfect place to see a show. Not too big. Very clean. Sound quality high. Great staff. Saw Interpol there; they were amazing as always. Fabulous place. Safe neighborhood.

Lovely theatre, we really enjoyed the show here. Seats were comfortable and the view of the stage perfect even though we were on the top tier.

Went to see Chelsea handler. I’ve been to many theaters across the country, seen plenty of comedians, broadway shows, etc so I have a general idea of what is expected in upper balcony. Our Tickets were upper balcony and we’re not marked as obstructed view. We sat down as one of the first folks to arrive and immediately were
Concerned. I’m 5’8” and sister is 5’6” so we are average sized if not taller than most women. Neither of us could see downstage, it was blocked off by other seats. Uh oh. Once openers came on, we knew we were in for a rough time. We couldn’t see the comedians all night and if you know live comedy, you’d know soooo much of the enjoyment comes from the physicality of it, the expressions and movements. This issues was made worse by the folks sitting in front of us and leaning forward. However, I stress the view was still severely obstructed when they leaned back or sat normally and out of the way. We could only catch glimpses of all the acts when they moved to the right or left. Overall, I do not understand folks saying there’s “not a bad view in the theater”. The balcony needs to be better advertised to buyers as an obstructed view and priced as such. Everything else was lovely. And the seats were the widest I’ve seen in a theater especially compared to broadway shows. Overall, I would not go back to this theater or at the very least I would never buy upper balcony seats in the center again.
