People always told me about Birdland's big band and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are super friendly and service was impeccable. Even the bar food we tried was great.

We went for some late-afternoon jazz - L.Armstrong Revival Band - and enjoyed it immensely. Close seating, good acoustics, good band, and the food we ordered was excellent.

We sat at the front of the raised section, at the bar end of the venue and it was fine. It's a bit like Ronnie Scotts in size so there aren't really any "bad" seats for the enjoyment of the music.
