It's always a treat to return to Dublin House. It's a truly authentic Irish-style pub with no frills, no food menu and decor that is decades old. Yet, the place feels "right" and the bartenders such as Michal on week nights are great. Besides a...More

I stopped by Dublin House last week in the late afternoon to raise a glass of beer in memory of an Irish friend who had died recently. Whenever he visited me in the City, he found it essential to drag me there, and we shared...More

This bar is worth visiting when in the area. Friendly staff that are welcoming and helped us out with directions, local knowledge and a few tales from Ireland. It's a bar, nothing fancy nothing grand. It's the way a bar should be.

Read the history- interesting back story. Cool little Irish pub on the upper west. Look for the Harp!

My gal liked the fact that this place was an Old School New York bar (e.g. not dressed up for a younger crowd), but I found it to feel sketchy. Gruff bartender obviously knew that we were out-of-town people and made zero effort to welcome...More

Old school NY bar. Very cool as it's old & not hipster contrived cool. Full of locals who mind there own but friendly and good for a chat when you're waiting at the bar. A proper bar.

Spent a few years in and out of the city and this bar is oddly what I miss most. Long live the Dublin House and I hope to make it back someday.

Has some nice beers and the place is well suited to a quick pint or two. Nothing too amazing. The barman seemed a bit grumpy but that didn't bother me too much.

Upper West Side
Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the
Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a
quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of
downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the
city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the
American Museum of Natural History, which has been
welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for
over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center,
