Nice views. Nothing to see in the island though. We took the tram and then had a walk along the river. Came back in half-hour or so. You can use metro card to pay, and bring your bike.

NYMTA Subway fare is $2.75 but due to go up. It is useable on Tram, subways, and buses. Get at ticket machines or at station booths.
