My parents and I went to see Carousel at the Imperial Theatre last week. We sat in the center of the front row, mind you, so the review is entirely based upon that so your experience may differ as I've read from other reviewers. The...More

I found that as a solo traveller, you can easily get last minute tickets and still get a great seat. This is what happened when I decided to see Carousel the same day as the performance. I ordered through Telecharge and picked up my ticket...More

I attended the (relatively) new production of Carousel last week. I will say nothing about the production, which I "listened" to from the right side second row of the balcony. My issue is not exclusively with this theater, all Broadway suffers from varying degrees of...More

While the show was wonderful, the ushers should be re-named "pointers". They no longer usher anyone to their seats, but simply "point" and describe where you are supposed to find your seats. I realize that these theaters are old, but the seating isn't comfortable at...More

The show (Carousel) is terrific. The cast is sensational. But the Imperial Theatre seats must have been provided by Delta Airlines! What an uncomfortable two-and-a-half-hours. Really loved intermission so I could stand up!

I had never seen Carousel, but based on the cast and the show's status as classical musical theater we got tickets when were in town. It is obviously a revered show by many people, but our family found it to be a technically brilliant production,...More

Saw the revival of Carousel here, and enjoyed it immensely. We arrived 30 minutes before curtain, used the restrooms then, and had none of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. Beautiful old theater, feels very vintage Broadway. Carousel itself was outstanding, sets and choreography were...More

Carousel was a brilliant production as you'd expect in NYC, absolutely spot on. Got the tickets from TKTS - £65, on the left hand side, row Q but a good view nonetheless. There was a bossy woman stewarding alongside us which was more humorous than...More
