If you are in New York City and going on city tour, ask tour guide to take you here. Although you can't see it from inside due to time constrain, still you can see it from outside.Nearby is the Greenwich Village.

This urban campus sprawls through the heart of Greenwich Village near Washington Square Park with satellite campuses throughout New York City. The architecture of the buildings that make up the campus is unique and varied. The campus and surrounding area exude life.

There is no university like New York University. And the central quadrangle of NYU, the "campus green", you'd call it anywhere else, has no grass: it's a city park called Washington Square featuring a huge arch like the Arc de Triomphe, a massive central fountain,...More

There are lots of students going to school and enjoying life in this very beautiful urban campus. There are lots of historical and architecturally wonderful buildings around here. The Bobst Library is a key landmark.

NYU is located in the north end of Greenwich Village and constitutes and important part and an important institution there. Some very nice buildings and a lively area all around.

Have always been around the area, but never took the time to check out NYU's "campus" here in the Village. I prefer a traditional college rural campus to city campuses. It was cool to see some of the buildings, but you can't help but feel...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
