There are two theaters at Symphony Space, and this is the smaller and more odd shaped. We prefer to sit about two thirds of the way down where there is a row with better viewing. Acoustics are very good. It is worth getting on the mailing list to see some very unusual performances.

The best seats are about two thirds of the way down, and what might be called the mezzanine. No matter how short you are, you can see over the heads of the people in front of you. Best kept secret for a Sunday night pitcher of Sangrias for $20. Delicious! Enjoyed the independent film: Alive Inside: "This stirring documentary follows social worker Dan Cohen as he fights against a broken healthcare system to demonstrate music's ability to combat memory." Went there last night. Only the last several rows had regular movie/theater seats. The vast majority of the theater had slightly-padded folding chairs. Not very comfortable.
