I am a big fan of the Blues, and this is definitely the best place for the Blues in NYC. The bar is intimate, comfortable, and has a wonderful "old school" atmosphere. The staff was accommodating and helpful, and the music was unbelievably good. They...More

We decided to go on a Sunday night, to hear Jr Mack and the Pioneers and it was fantastic! We were a bit surprised at how empty it was when we first arrived but that made it more intimate and Junior's interaction with the audience...More

I have been going here for years. The place is great! Two live acts each night. Prices are reasonable for NYC, and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Can't add much more than everyone else has. We reserved a table as I wanted my 16 year old son to hear some genuine blues. The staff were very welcoming, the cover charge was only $10 per head (Wednesday) and I wanna go again!!!

Great atmosphere, Guinness on tap, 300 whiskeys and bourbons available, really high quality blues from the 4 acts we have seen there. A place that you want to go back to time and again. Be warned, no food available, but there are plenty of options...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

There is an outside staircase to get in. I assume they have an alternative (don’t they legally have to?) but check directly.
