Really worth the money

It was a trip with my 21 & 22 year old kids. They loved all the music, graffiti art and history. Reggie Reg was just excellent as a tour guide.

We did the birth of hip hop tour on Saturday 14th Jan. The tour went through Manhattan, to different parts of Harlem and the Bronx and the stops were perfectly varied. The tour was brilliant, cannot fault a thing. The guides are awesome and clearly hip hop is what they live and breathe. Their enthusiasm made the tour especially good.... More

Excellent tour exploring the Bronx and Harlem in a journey back to the inception of Hip Hop. Grandmaster Caz is a knowledgable, charismatic, funny and talented tour guide. As a mainly late 80s to present Hip Hop fan this tour gave us lots of insight into the history - although no prior Hip Hop knowledge is necessary to enjoy. Only... More

I booked this for my wife and I and we weren't disappointed. My wife is not a hip hop fan but couldn't help but love this tour because of the energy and fun element provided by Caz and Rayza. My wife was breakdancing and I was MCing. It's incredibly interactive with great music and not to mention the soul food... More

A great tour with the awesome Reggie Reg who is informative and fun. The only downside is that I found it a tad too expensive for what the content is. However would I be swung to go on another Hush Hip Hop tour? Perhaps!

The HUSH Hip Hop Tour "History of Hip Hop" took us through Harlem and the Bronx to get a feel for the look and feel of Hip Hop's earliest days. From 1520 Sedgwick to the Apollo to 106th/Park to Yankee Stadium with a ton of places in between, you get a grand tour and lesson in Hip Hop History. With... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
