We went here at night and it was a great idea! The lights of the city were beautiful and highlighted areas to make them more visible. I went to Empire State last time I was in NYC and went during the day and it was...More

Great place to see the city skyline and I recommend doing it at night!. The view is spectacular and worth it!. The line moves pretty fast and it does not take that long to get to the top or back down.

We went at night and the lights were magnificent to see, but feel like this would be just as good in the daylight as well. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Can stay as long as you want; gift shop and historical film on location.

My family went to TOTR and we made sure to get the Sun & Stars ticket so we could see the view in the daylight and after dark. We loved the whole experience; even the elevator ride up is fun.

We went up both TOTR and Empire State and have to say TOTR in my view was better - the experience going up was more interesting (views up the lift shaft going up and videos running while in queues), and I think the view was...More

Went early morning midweek. Very small queues. The view was amazing, but was shocked by how awful the customer service was. The staff were so unnecessarily aggressive and just straight rude to the customers. Given how much they charge for putting you into an elevator,...More

Very unlikely I think. It tends to be very busy with big queues. The simple trip up and down takes about theee quarters of an hour without any queuing. I think it would be a big rush and stressful and unlikely you would... More

There were people using selfie sticks when we were there so as long as it's hand held and not needing to be put up in a space as a tripod would I would think it's ok but maybe try and call/ email them to check.

Yes, all done on the phone, via their website. And there’s no need to collect or print; you’ll get an e-ticket on your email with a QPR code which the staff scan at the door.
