hidden, but nice place in NYC

The drinks are their speciality which are tailored to each one. There is only appetizes, no meals! Alternative atmosphere. Go for it ;)

Cozy place with excellent cocktails. There was no menu when I went, you simply listed your favorite liquors and flavors and asked the waiter to bring you something tasty. And they always did! The place is kinda pricey, but the drinks are indeed delicious. I've been a couple times and have never been disappointed by their concoctions! Great place for... More

My boyfriend and I came to New York for a week and Milk and Honey was definitely the highlight of our cocktail bar experiences. The bartender/cocktail genius was lovely and friendly and made us each 3 different unique and 100% personalised cocktails according to our tastes. Would highly recommend and would definitely return on a future trip.

We visited on the recommendation of the bartender at Raines Lawroom. Upon finding the place, we sat up at the bar. We asked Jesse, the bartender, for a menu, but they have none which was great. We told him the sorts of drinks that we liked and he came up with drinks for us. Great drinks and great service.

Impeccable service, perfectly balanced drinks delivered quickly and perfectly tailored to each of our specifications. We visited in a Tuesday night and I would highly recommend coming when it is quieter as the style of service and drinks work better this way than when it is super busy.

I love the drinks they make here, especially the creamy drinks, unfortunately one complaint about one drink and all of a sudden we get serious attitude with every order and comment. What a way to ruin an experience. If you can't be hospitable, why are you in the hospitality business? Doubt I'll be going back or recommending others to go... More

This is a really fun speakeasy with a 40's vibe. In case you're not familiar with this type of place, your bartender creates your drink based on what you are in the mood for/like/don't like. Every drink we were served here was superb!

A friend brought us here while we were in town and it was great. Quaint, personable, small! It had a good vibe when we walked in. The waitress was spot on and the bartender nailed it. Every drink we had was good. We told them what we liked and he suprised us with something new!!! They came around often to... More

Good Food and clean, but overpriced and the staff are not friendly. This is not the place where I would want to take a drink again. Not what I was expecting.

1st of wall the address published here is Wrong! Correct address: 30 E 23rd street, Madison Avenue (a black door with no sign next to a stainless steel looking wall). Definitely not a good place to drink, unless you like pretentious staff treating you like a moron. Staff welcomes you with the following quote (even before offering you water): "Let... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
