We visited here after visiting Carrie Bradshaw's apartment and it didn't disappoint! It was lovely to see something that you have seen on TV hundreds of times
Got some lovely pics too and generally a lovely neighborhood to walk around too!
If you are a die-hard fan of "Friends", then a visit to this building is worth it. It is pretty neat to see the building on TV right in front of you, and you can imagine that Joey, Chandler, Ross, Monica, Phoebe and Rachel are...More
Obviously it´s only a building, but it does have its appeal to the Friends' fans. You will find youself with other people trying to get the best shot of the Friends Apartments. It is quickly, so what did was to enjoy the neighborhood after the...More
Ok, so I kind of messed up on my plans to visit the “Friends Building” as my mobile data ran out on me when we left the Subway so it was a little bit of an effort finding it and I actually thought it was...More
We walked thru the Village to try to find the "Friends" coffee shop and apartment on a trip to NYC. The write-ups and information about this place are confusing. Most say this was the inspiration for the show even though it was filmed in Hollywood....More
You can’t do much there but if you’re a fan it’s a must see. Just a few minutes away is John’s Pizzeria on Bleeker which is nice to stop at, it’s a very famous pizza place or walk the high line up, it starts about...More
Here I am!
Here is the "FRIENDS" apartment that main character of 6 person lived in.
There are many tourist where take a picture even now.
"FRIENDS" is seems to be a world wide popular drama still.
Yes, everyone knows that it’s only the outside building and that nothing was actually filmed there, but still, it’s Friends! It’s in a beautiful area (Greenwich), so make sure you walk around and enjoy the area as well.
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
I agree with other comments although we walked down 5th avenue as we were going to Brandy Melville anyway so we carried on to Washington Square park and then through Grenwich Village. There was a market on the day we went... More
I agree with other comments although we walked down 5th avenue as we were going to Brandy Melville anyway so we carried on to Washington Square park and then through Grenwich Village. There was a market on the day we went so was nice to wander through and there are lots of nice cafes in the area. We found it a nice morning to escape the hustle of the city and being massive Friends fans, the bonus was seeing that iconic building featured so much in the shows (despite not actually being filmed there). Hope you enjoy!
