This was a lovely piece of art in the park and worth a look when you are walking around the park. It's close to the Bethesda terrace and further along it leads to the Alice in wonderland sculpture which is also worth a visit.

Stumbled across this during a stroll in the park, had no idea what or who it was until on closer inspection I could see that the book was The Ugly Duckling. Lovely Statue

If you are in the Central Park, and with kids, must visit this nice statue of Hans Christian Andersen. This Danish author in known for his fairy tales like The Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling. This place is know for storytelling.
