Definitely worth it. Beautiful building inside and out. Very well run by friendly staff everywhere. It’s fast, clean and of course you get the best views of lower Manhattan. Get the tickets ahead of time and avoid lines. Of course, check weather and plan accordingly...More

I didn't lose anyone in the 9/11 tragedy, but when I was reading the names on the edge of the North and South Pools, this brought a lump in my throat and a tear to my eye. All of the lives lost for no reason...More

Great way to see New York from above. We'd been to the Empire State Building and entry to OWO was far quicker. We had a 2 pm entry but got in at 1.30 pm. Didn't hire an iPad guide but they looked good value for...More

If you're going to go up a skyscraper while in New York then this is the one! Also, I'm not the best in lifts or with heights but this is done so well that even the most nervous traveller will feel relaxed. The lift is...More

I thought the tower itself was impressive. We did the observatory after the museum. It made for a nice morning. The elevator ride was the best part. The video was awesome. I thought the view from the top of the rock was better. But this...More

We had booked via the internet, so we could skip the line. We planned our visit round 20.00, so we could see the city at daytime and night time (sunset was round 20.00). This worked out great. The lift to the 102nd floor is already...More

The wait was quite short but once in the lift you are treated to like a forty second show of how Manhattan skyline has changed over the centuries and then before you go out onto the actual viewing deck, you are given a short five...More

Just the elevator ride up to the observatory, is really well made, just that is almost worth the trip... But wow, that view, there is no words for it, you have to experience it yourself. It was expensive, yes. But do yourself the favor and...More

We visited in August 2018. The 360 degree view is amazing. Second to none in NYC. All I would say is don’t rent one of the iPads that they rent to you for information. Just use your phone!

Financial District
At the southernmost tip of Manhattan, the Financial
District is where New York City began as a center of
commerce. Today, the historic streets and beautiful
setting are complemented by museums, countless
skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District,
home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Catch the Staten Island Ferry for an unbeatable view
of the skyline and Statue of Liberty, or sail to Ellis

I'd allow 2 hrs. You'll be surprised that even the elevator ride to the top is exciting and educational. We did the "self tour" with the Ipad and loved it. Then, there is a restaurant you may want to consider for your... More

You can purchase your tickets online the day of your visit but if you choose to purchase the tickets at the cashier, it shouldn't be a long line. Though we already had tickets, people who purchased them at the entrance did... More
