About
There are a million things to experience in New York City, but there’s only one way to see them all at once. You can start by hopping a Sky Pod to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. There, 102 stories up, find yourself face-to-face with New York’s iconic skyline. Maybe you’ve seen views of the city before, but never quite like this. Walk the three sprawling levels of the Observatory and discover surprises along the way. Drop into the café and grab a bite to eat. Step onto the Sky Portal and stroll high above the crowded streets. Take an interactive guided tour of the city with the help of our Skyline Concierges, available to answer any questions you might have about New York’s long and storied history. And don’t leave without stopping by the One Mix bar for a glass of celebratory prosecco and one last look toward the horizon. See for yourself why One World Observatory is truly An Experience Above.

- Casey C1 contributionAmazing all aroundMy boyfriend and I had such an amazing experience here. Unfortunately we chose a day that was 0 visibility but the experience was still very surreal. We ate at the one world dining and was given the best seat in the house, given there wasn’t alot to look at, the staff was incredible and we could see some lights & buildings once it cleared up. One staff In Particular was awesome, Lois, she helped us with our tickets, took us to the bell desk and directed us to security all while giving us history and information on the one world trade, plus she was a riot, highlight of our trip thereVisited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten December 13, 2022
- Lyndell B17 contributionsGreat experience, Security needs to be trained properly. An amazing experience. Worth the money. One of the best observation decks in Manhattan. Friendly staff, however, there was one officer in the security check point who was very RUDE. And for the money spent on this experience i would have liked better of a world class destinarion like One WTC. He nearly ruined the experience. However i won't let that happen.Visited December 2022Travelled soloWritten December 14, 2022
- Adrian BExeter, United Kingdom467 contributionsAmazingFrom the moment you arrive and enter the huge lobby, to the lifts that take you up 100 floors in 30 seconds this is an amazing experience and well worth visiting if you are in NYC for at least few days. The 360degree views give you a real perspective on where everything is in New York. Really loved this experienceVisited December 2022Written December 29, 2022
- Dan RChicago, Illinois47 contributionsExcellent!Pretty neat experience, and very well done! I think it’s probably the best of the NYC skyscraping experiences. The observatory is two levels complete with a restaurant and snack bar. Would recommend upgrading your ticket as it includes a food and beverage credit as well as an ipad that gives the viewer a detailed tour of all of the buildings in the skyline which is awesome if you’re not from NYC.Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience! The introduction was amazing and the views were breath taking. We went at sunset, walked all the way round getting daylight pictures, then walked around again getting the same photos in the dark, absolutely stunning. - rkgkrkLondon, United Kingdom627 contributionsSpectacular view - but get tickets online to avoid queueThis is an iconic building for the architecture, the recent history and the majestic views. Some advice, which I hope helps you enjoy this wonderful building 1 Do buy your tickets online to avoid the queues which are long. If that’s not possible buy a priority ticket at the entrance. This will whisk you through faster although it’s a bit more expensive, but how often are you going to do this? 2 When you get to the 360 degree observatory walk around to get your bearings and orientation if you are not familiar with the city. This will allow you to go back to the areas and photo opportunities that interest you most and not waste time waiting to get closer to windows that don’t interest you. Statute of Liberty, Infinity Pools and view down to Central Park are the most congested areas so this will allow you to decide where you want to hover to get near the window 3 When you take your photos put your camera lense/phone as close to the window - if possible touching the window - this will allow you to get pictures that don’t have any reflection. This will be a wonderful visit so give yourself plenty of time to view and savour being nearly on top of the world!Visited August 2022Written January 21, 2023
- cornwall666Cornwall, United Kingdom74 contributionsTop of the worldWe visited as the final attraction of our 5 days in NYC and it was great to be able to spot all the places we had been. Very well organised and presented and the spoken presentation really put into context how this new building moves on from the events of 2001. Not the cheapest visit but certainly not one to miss.Visited January 2023Written February 2, 2023

Josephyne is the manager and Rebecca too and Andrea was our server. I cannot say enough about this place. They made it so so special for us. We celebrated my wife’s pre birthday and our anniversary. It was my wife, two kids and me. Amazing amazing amazing. Loved every bit of it. The drinks, the food the dessert. Try the gelato ice cream (it’s different) and the fried brissels (unique). I give them 10 start 😍😍😍Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten February 4, 2023

I was able to walk right in at 10 o’clock when they opened and on the first elevator up, it was great to have the ticket in advance certainly would not want to stand in the lines that I saw when I left

Although we had bought tickets in advance, we didn't need to worry, there were no queues when we visited. Fortunately it was a beautiful sunny, clear day so the views were simply breathtaking and the fact that you have that 360 opportunity to see the different parts of NY is exhilarating. One of the very best things we did on our visit to Manhattan. (worth considering in the vicinity are Wall Street NYSE and the Fearless Girl, taking a trip on the Staten Island Ferry (free and with views of Statue of Liberty) and the Charging Bull.

The views were impressive and we spent long time exploring the amazing experience.
A big minus due to the non functioning bathroom, giving the opportunity to one of the female employees (Emma) to shout loudly and aggressively with people that she was leading to the elevator to have access to a bathroom.
If someone does not like human beings, or doesn’t know how to talk to them, should find a different job or could consider taking some medication…

Chose this over Empire State as was more convenient for then doing Statue of Liberty.
It was a wise choice as from the interactive ride up through the "big reveal" to uninterrupted views, the experience was good.
Elevator down was a great experience that is almost worth the trip in its own right.

We had visited the memorial and museum and were initially undecided about going to the top since we'd already been to the top of the Empire State Building, had a hotel room on the 58th floor, and visited Top of the Rock on our last trip. We decided to go up and were so happy we did! We purchased tickets right at the tower. The whole experience was incredible. The elevator goes extremely fast, and yet your ears somehow don't pop. The elevator ride is an experience itself, with movies projected onto the walls. The views at the top are spectacular, as you'd expect. But this offers a slightly different vantage point, with views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge and the rivers. The gift shop at the top is a nice spot to purchase souvenirs too.

Like from other sky scrapers in NYC there is an amazing view from the top of One World, and you have a full view of the rivers. It is absolutely worth a visit, but in contrast to other sky scrapers like Empire State Building and Rockefeller the building is not impressive in its architecture. It is "just" the tallest and the newest.

This was an amazing experience. Even though I have a tendency for motion sickness , the ride up was no problem. At the top, there is plenty of space to see the magnificent views of New York City! Thank you staff, especially Andrew and James Leather for making this a wonderful time for 6 of us!

This was cool to visit, it’s very fast, heaps of info and a neat video as part of it too. It was an overcast day but we still got to see plenty. You can book online the day you visit. Busy times will be sunset so other times will be easy to get tickets

The view was epic obviously. The AC has some scent pushed through that I thought smelled amazing at first but becomes a little over powering after a while. The bar is very pricey but was a fun experience to have a drink and take in the view before going to the observation deck. I would not pay to skip the line or do any upgrades. We got our tickets online, walking up to the building, and had no wait.

Myself and my wife are going to New York at the end of February for 5 days and are looking for recommendations on where to visit? I was looking at purchasing a 3 day pass to see as many places as possible but a lot of people say that they are a rip off. We are staying close to Times Square. Also is it easy and safe on the subways? I would like to visit the Bronx, to see the steps where the Joker was filmed, is that safe on our own or would it be better to do a bus tour? Thanks for any advice.

Yes the subway is safe & at the moment no buses are going to the bronx but they are a great way of seeing the rest of the city & finding your bearings. We stayed near Times Square & used the big bus (do not use Topview) it’s a great way to find where you need to go. If you get a three day ticket on the app it will save you money. Have as good a time as we did.

If you are unable to tour the observatory before dinner, can you do it after (if it's part of a package)?

Bonjour,
Nous avons fait l'empire state Building et top of thé rock. Pensez-vous que ce soit intéressant de faire celui-ci aussi? Est-ce que la vie la nuit vaut le coup? Ou il vaut mieux la journée ?
Merci

Complètement différent de ces deux-là. Mieux pendant la journée.
Has anyone taken the ferry from northern NJ to the site? Is it far then from ferry drop off to site? Is there a shuttle maybe?
Can you bring your own sandwiches to eat somewhere up top, perhaps benches or something? Nothing crazy like a ful blown picnic or anything! We have some pretty intense food allergies in our group.
I would think so
