    Fun place to check out
Living in NYC, I never even knew this was there and found it on an Instagram post. Today I got to check it out. It was a fun experience and I enjoyed going on it. A hidden gem in Lower Manhattan

Beautiful, fun, and unique carousel in battery Park a must visit when in lower Manhattan
This is a beautiful and unusual carousel at battery Park. Just a short walk from West Street and from the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. It is very unique. Instead of the usual horses in the carousel, there are sea creatures that light up. Not only do the creatures go up and down. They also go in small circles within the large circular carousel. It is very interesting. We had three generations on the carousel and everyone loved it. The music is coordinated with the theme. It was a genuinely lovely and fun experience for everyone. Additionally, the staff was superb. Josh was fantastic. He helped us find places to sit and even helped a member of our family to step in to the fish. They could not have been nicer. You can even buy a package of 10 rides for a small discount. If you’re in battery Park, I highly recommend listening this lovely carousel. I have traveled the world, and I think this is amongst the nicest carousels, and certainly the most unique, I have ever been in.

    Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!
The SeaGlass Carousel was fantastic - really beautiful. It should be up there with the Statue of Liberty and The Empire State Building and reasonably priced too. The girls running it were great - welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend this for all ages (we were a family of three generations).

    Whimsy in NYC
We stumbled across this carousel in Battery Park and decided to take a ride on a whim before seeing it in action. So glad we did, the music and lighting with the motion of the fish vehicles was so calming and just a lovely experience. Definitely go later in the day when it's not as bright out as the lighting definitely adds to the experience.

No credit cards taken. Wasted time. No strollers. Rude staff. Don't bother. Kids enjoyed the nearby playground though

Unique, ocean themed carousel housed in a nautilus shell inspired structure. Good for all ages. $6.00. I imagine it would be especially enchanting while lit up at night.

it's quite special, different from the ordinary carousel as the theme of this one is undersea, while others are land animals, some fish will rotate itself besides the large rotation of the whole platform, but it's a bit expensive, $5.5 per ride at 2022, it's $6 in 2023, I think it will keep increasing the price. My kids tried it once.

Lovely gentle and enjoyable for small people. We were there for opening and enjoyed the simple please of the ride. The music and lights and motion are all gentle and it was a nice family experience.
