I can't say i meant to visit this statue, rather came across it whilst walking through Central Park. I think its great to have statue's like this dotted throughout the park and its great to admire and take photographs with should you come across it...More

This statue is very close to Central Park Zoo and can also be a useful reference point. Has an information plaque describing the story of the statue. Many children come here for photo's and can get crowded at peak times.
