Love the park. Hate all the narrow roads leading into it and the traffic is horrible. But this is not the Parks fault.

We tent camped for one night at this park along a road trip of AR in early May. The site was very scenic, and we were close to the water. Facilities were clean. I think we were the only tent campers. Everyone else was in an RV. Bring earplugs because the geese WILL wake you up early :)

Maumelle Corps of Engineers Park, just outside of LIttle Rock, offers gorgeous views of the Arkansas River. The river is about 3/4 a mile wide and flows steady and strong. Add a forest of tall mature trees and you have one beautiful park. This park has four rv loops; some with 30 amp and water and other sites with 50... More

This park is located right on the Arkansas River. Some sites back up to the river and many have a river view. The sites allow enough room between neighbors to not feel closed in. It's proximity to Little Rock makes it perfect for a visit to the city.

We camped for six nights in our motorhome on a site facing the Arkansas River. The sunrises and sunsets were very beautiful, with lots of bird life all around. We saw, ducks, herons, sandhill cranes, eagles, and woodpeckers. The location is very convenient to all the sights in Little Rock. We had water and electric but there are no sewer... More

What's not to like about this park? Walking and biking trails and beautiful views from nearly everywhere. Even when the weather brings out big crowds you do not feel crowded here.

We found this by accident along the way to Texas - what a wonderful area! I'd love to come back and explore more. The park is right on the river/lake, has very nice campsites with adequate spacing in a nicely wooded area. The bath house was very nice and clean and everything is close to nearby stores and food if... More

Stayed here after reading great reviews on Trip Advisor. The park is located on the Arkansas River and we had a beautiful site right on the river. We had water and electric for our rig with a dump station nearby. We were going to stay one night but it was so nice we decided to say for 3 nights. Wide... More

When we need nature and we can't get out of town we camp here quite often. We have campers, but my husband and I choose to use their showers because they are soooo nice!
