This is a nice stop for visitors to the city to learn about the history of the state. The building is beautiful and the admission is free (donations appreciated) - definitely worth a look around.

This is a fantastic and free museum. It is located near the state capitol building, with plenty of parking. I would suggest putting this on your must-see list. Both the grounds and building are well-preserved.

Great old FREE look at early Arkansas history. Unusual items in the history collection. First ladies' gowns. Place Clinton declared for President and Election Night public speech. Early capitol of Arkansas. Well preserved.

There are many exhibits in this facility that is well maintained. A lot of interesting tidbits of the history of the state of Arkansas.
