This is a challenging hike and requires sturdy shoes. Beware if snakes early in the morning. This connects up with other trails in the area for the adventurous.

I run here most weekends when I am in town. The trail is VERY rocky. Running or hiking is best - mountain biking is treacherous. I tried and won't be back. There are no services, no water, or anything if you get hurt to help...More

Probably the most awesome view in a city that is filled with scenes of mountains, desert and the Rio Grande.
