We drove through a part of the park on Wednesday. They were not busy and not many campers. It's pretty and takes you back to a wilderness area rather quickly. We stopped for a while at Little Niagara. It's just a swimming hole with a small waterfall. Great for swimmers and kids but not much if you are expecting a... More

This area is beautiful, with trails for hiking, jogging, walking. And the waterholes?? Magnificent! The waterholes have picnic areas. Camping areas for those who camp. Although camping is not my thing. Visit the Veterans Lake. It has a place to fish, benches, tables, walking, etc. Visit the Pavillion where the sulphur spring is located. I know there's more, but we... More

This area is made possible through an alliance between the Chickasaw Nation and the National Parks resulting in a high end experience for free. There are swimming areas in the river that don't exist anymore in most modern parks and the trails to the springs had some amazing views. Bring water, snacks and comfortable shoes or hiking boots.

Veteran's Lake is a large, lovely area. Dogs are allowed in the park which is great. We took the dogs in the evening in April. Wildflowers covered the grass and made for great photos. The path winds all the way around the lake, which is a considerable distance. Teens were enjoying the swimming weather. The buffalo area was a nice... More

We visited for the natural springs, which are near the entrance in Sulphur. Pay attention to the signs, or you could be driving around for a long time as the park is very large.

We made a short visit to the park and wish we could've stayed longer. There are several small water falls and walking/hiking trails. The nature center wasn't very big but had some interesting displays and clean restrooms. There are different areas of the park with falls, trails, camping and a small lake. The trails are well maintained and vary from... More

The veteran lake was the best part about this area. The little Niagara Falls was extremely little and not impressive. Overall not wowed by this place.

I enjoyed my stop here. I've drove by a few times and finally stopped to check it out today, it was nice.
