This beach is quaint. There aren’t a lot of shops, restaurants or hotels around. Free parking. Close to the battlefield.

Small beach on the York River along with a boardwalk and some nice shops. Couple of choices for food, my fav is the Yorktown Pub (great crabcakes). Family fun if you're in the area checking out the history!

Yorktown Beach was such a shocker! A fun place to play in the sand with the family. A quaint village, shops, museum and art. I loved it! What a pleasant surprise! Historical location, beautiful scenery, artifacts and local artisan gifts. This is worth a visit!...More

My opinion (and I'm sure other peoples) on an attraction can be influenced by the weather. The day we visited was perfect. Warm and sunny. Nice views of the river and plenty of sunshine. On a day like this it was the perfect stop.

This beach is well maintained and there are public restrooms nearby as well. Good location with several nearby restaurants and a nice view of the bridge. Parking nearby is relatively inexpensive as well, and there’s a garage too.

There are plenty of places for food right in the beach. The others are correct for gas.

The water should be fine, don't know if jellyfish will be in season. There is a waterfront hotel (Duke of York), lots of other hotels and timeshares on the lower Peninsula. Not familiar with the VRBO acronym.

There are still some jelly fish. As the water gets cooler, you will see less and less.
