WE had such a great meal at this restaurant. Gorgeous view of the York river, where Cornwallis sought to escape across to Glouster. We both got the Cafe Cobb salad. The plates were huge and we probably should have shared. The crab was overflowing and...More

Free parking available at multiple spots including a picnic area that is well shaded. Near the beach as well. With a little luck you will see vessels steam the York River, including some military vessels. Wonderful shoppes to visits and quaint restaurants available as well.

The halibut combo meal and the shrimp and grits and the onion soup were delicious! Sat outside right along the water and let the world go by. Courtney was a wonderful waitress and had great recommendations.

Very pretty view. A nice place to walk along the water. The shops really don't offer much. Was disappointed in that. We were there a very short time. Just ok, won't be going back.

Yorktown's spot to rest and relax after seeing the historic sights and sites. Good restaurants, funky shops and even a beach to wet your toes.

Loved this part of Yorktown! Worth the drive over to see. Great place to sit and observe boats coming and going. It's a very active place with several restaurants, monuments, and beaches. This is a great place to spend an afternoon.

This is a lovely place to visit...a beautiful beach on the water, with shops and restaurants. There is some interesting history plaques along the boardwalk.

We are planning to visit the Williamsburg area in early June. We are beach lovers at heart. Is the Yorktown River Walk beach the type where people set out their blanket, chairs & umbrella to spend the day basking in the sun?
