this is a hidden treasure. Stop by the ranger station/museum first, get the history of Coronado looking for the lost seven cities of gold. Then continue up to the top of the mountain to the viewing point. Look out for many deer and other wildliffe

This is a free National Memorial. There is a visitor center with great historical and wildlife information. There are hiking trails, but we did not do any of these. We did drive up to the very top of the mountain. The view is beautiful! You...More

The visitor's center is small, but the exhibits are well done. The shop contains books about the area and the NP official park stamp. We visited Montezuma Point which meant driving two miles on a well-graded dirt road. The view from the top was spectacular.

This is a very pretty location. You need to prepare for the trip because it is in the environment. The best time to go is in the mornings.

I need to qualify my rating. We drove but did not hike. Also, we stopped about a half mile short of the Montezuma scenic overlook. The view was beautiful but not what it would have been had we continued to the overlook. That brings me...More

We enjoyed this tucked away monument. The visitor centre has awesome information and is very educational...we spent close to an hour just reading all the different displays. Then it was on to the summit, along a 3.4 mile mostly gravel road. I'd driven the Moki...More

The drive to the parking lot and the views it affords is great in itself. Once at the parking level there are facilities available and displays about the history. If you can, take the walk up to the summit. It's uphill but they constructed steps...More

Fun little memorial, helpful rangers. Bring your head lamp and check out the cave. It is self guided so different from any protected cave that I have explored.
