Knowledgeable reenactors provide extensive background on one of the most significant battles of Revolutionary War. Cannon and musket firing demonstrations. Lectures under tent and quick talks along walking trail.

The Battle of Cowpens was the basis for the movie “The Patriot”. Seeing this important part of securing victory in the War for Independence was very enjoyable. Having been here before I was disappointed that the battlefield was overgrown. The musket demonstration was excellent.
