Want To Return and Stay

A short visit to the park was part of our bicycle trip. Hope to return some day and stay in the cabins. Looks very well maintained and has lots to do.

Beautiful quiet camping area. We stayed in a RV for a couple nights. I liked that it was close to St Mary's - we were able to reach it by moped. Lots of trees, trails and, of course, a river. There is not a plethora of things to do in the area so be prepared to kick back and relax.

My wife and I and our dog spent four nights at this beautiful and scenic state park there are many sites to see wildlife birds and nature's beauty. I highly recommend this Park for a stay. The sites are extremely clean and the sites are spacious and private.

We stayed in cabin 11 at the park, right next to the river and the Sempervirens Trail. Loved it! Perfect cool weather, wonderful easy trails through fascinating landscape. The dog wanted to stay forever! Close to pretty St Mary's, too.

Camped at the park with our camper and brother and his motor home. Kept up beautifully. Sites are big with water and electric, sewer dump station on way out. Nice fire rings on site cook several meals over the fire and of course Smores several times. Staff and rangers friendly and helpful. Slow down for speed bumps they are real.... More

Good place to take a break from the rat race. Quiet and very comfortable. Park employees very helpful. Been coming every two years for quite a while to hold our family reunion. We'll more than likely be back again.

Nice Park, right on river, good campsites. Have a lot of good guided informational tours. Enjoyed the bird watching trip.

We live in northern Florida and absolutely love coming to this tranquil and beautiful campground. The spaces are quite large and there are many hiking trails through pines and palmettos or through forested hammocks. There's fishing and boating on the river, a nature center, frequent group activities and miniature golf. We enjoy going into town and visiting local restaurants. Our... More

We discovered Crooked River SP just last week when exploring the area and booked a couple of nights online for our RV this week. Unfortunately you cannot reserve a specific site and have to choose from what is available when you check in however it was no problem for us mid-week and we found just what we wanted. The weather... This is one of GA's most popular parks, the park is large and well laid out, there are 62 camping sites with water and electric at each site. Two clean bath houses, paved roads with gravel sites, table, fire ring and most are very level. No problems for big rigs, many pull through sites, all sites are good size, most... More
