Museum under repair following hurricane damage - hence half price admission. The lower level focuses on diesel powered subs, the upstairs on nuclear. Lots of interesting things to sea and a continuous running movie to learn about life on a sub. It’s a vital part...More

The Museum is still putting itself back together after recovering from the 2017 hurricane season, but is well worth the time and very economical expense. A pleasure for young and old alike. Location is convenient and close to King's Bay submarine base.

The museum is especially designed for those that are interested in submarines. There is a large exhibit of individual submarine artifacts. The movie is an excellent source for learning more about subs.

Submariners will appreciate the battle flags, plaques, photos, news articles, and models. Non-submariners will learn about the history of the silent service. Many items were removed due to the hurricanes; however, the items will be restored soon.

Much work has been done to set up the great display of Submarine Historical Items. You can enjoy the vast amount of Submarine items found here. It is a good place to take children to introduce them to Submarine History. Great for everyone!

A walk through of submarine memorabilia. Interesting look into the past of both fast-attacks and boomers.

The Submarine Museum is here because of the nearby sub base at King's Bay. It is not a "professionally" run museum but more of a collection of odds and ends all relating to submarines, There are two floors to the museum but if you have...More

Must have been some special even because there is never a problem with parking in that area. Don't know what the problem could have been that day.
