Since our last visit with our grandson last summer, the place continues to become even more rundown. Only a couple huts have been restored and the information signs have become almost unreadable from weathering. We were sad to see the sorry state of the formerly...More

This is a very nice place to learn about some of the local Native American culture that lived here 800 years ago. There is a very nice Visitor Center with a good informative video and gift shop. The grounds where the original village are is...More

We took many residents to SunWatch and had a self guided and guided tour. The residents enjoyed going along the trail outside the building and would enjoy going again.

We went there on a day with no events planned. We had the whole village to ourselves, because there was nobody else visiting at that time. it was very quiet and peaceful. Great place to feel the spirit of the past and learn some history!

This site was very interesting. Definitely watch the short introduction movie. The museum is small but informative. The actual site is behind the visitors center. I visited with my pre-teen daughter and she enjoyed being able to run around and touch things (outside, of course)....More

This is a fab sit but is showing its age, some huts need work and this really could be so much more.

First of all, the complete tour, indoor and out will take you at least an hour and a half. I would need at least 30 minutes in the gift shop, I saw many things I wanted to look at but we didn't have time. Our...More

Sunwatch is an authentic site, but it is small. I would plan maybe an hour to an hour and a half. There is a small indoor museum with information. Some of the outdoor trails are covered in mulch, making it difficult on wheelchairs.

Very sad to see such an important archaeological site not kept up. Huts falling down signage faded and some very hard to read. Locals need to restore this village to it's former grandeur.

The historical significace of this sacred site is immeasurable. As a first time visitor we were impressed with the modest reception/exhibit area. A 12 minute video was conducive to introducing us to what was to be seen outside. The village as been extensively excavated revealing...More
