Great place!!

Don't miss this local gem. Dayton has so many places to see, but this was well worth it for an indoor rainy day activity.

Nothing I say can enhance what has already been said about this awesome museum. If you are a aviation enthusiast like myself you will not want to miss this museum. A group of friends and I decided to drive the 2 hours to get there and I nor them were disappointed. The most impressive to me was the immensity of... More

We made a special detour to get a day here, and it was well worth it. I have never seen so many interesting aircraft in one place. Great staff, mostly volunteers, and very eager to ensure that visitors have a great time there. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic museum where you will learn a lot about airplanes, flying, space exploration and others. It will take you around 6 hours to see the whole museum so plan a full day.

All the staff here during my visit were so friendly and welcoming. I have been to aviation museums all over the... More

Spent the entire day at this museum, so much to see if you really enjoy aviation I would recommend getting to the location when it opens at 9am. It covers the whole history of flight from before the Wright brothers to space travel. There are a number of hangers which contain aircraft from different periods of history, you can get... More

I went with my pilot husband so I had a very knowledgeable guide, but I was so impressed with the knowledge and helpful approach of all the docents and staff. They made the already fascinating content come alive with their stories. It is a great facility with something of interest for anyone.

As a pilot I've been to a lot of aviation museums all over the country and this is definitely one of the best! If you're a fan of aviation or U.S. history, you will love this museum. I am still amazed that it is free! They could easily charge ten dollars per person (kids free) and make millions per year.... More
