Walk, run, bike, kayak, bird watch, chill :one can do all this at this beautiful preserve. There are new areas of improvement and more expansion to come. Definitely worth going to. You can pack a picnic - there's a covered area. Many people go but never feels jammed. A relaxing place that gives good energy.

I was pleased to find a nature preserve near Bradenton. I rented a bike with a plan to ride out to Anna Maria Island and the crew at the bike shop recommended I ride through Bradenton preserve before heading over the bridge. I enjoyed the short little ride through there and got to learn a bit about the ecology of... More

This is one of our favorite places to walk we can start at the south parking area and get a good 6 mile walk in. We can't wait till the new area opens up.

Best day trip ever with our three teenagers! It worked well for us to have two kayaks and three paddle boards.

Rented a Kayak from the wooden bus, amazing experience kayaking the preserve. Saw tons of birds, jumping fish and a great morning in Florida weather.

Great preserve with well kept trails and grounds. Suggest a morning walk when it is cooler. The tower was a great spot for the children to release some energy. Hope to return again as it is a beautiful attraction.

Jogged the trail. Ran up and down the stairs of the tower. All while soaking up the fl sun and the beautiful nature. We have spent many days here. Got to get the workouts in before the night of drinking lol. My body and mind are better because of this place.

We have walked this preserve a couple of times. Always in the morning, it's a little cooler. Nice scenery.

A wonderful place to see the beauty of Florida. Well kept trails are all doggie friendly (but remember to bring water for your furry friend, there is only one water fountain at the entrance) and also don't forget your camera!!
