Pleasant walk

Great little walk alternating between the mangroves and the edge of the Manatee River. About 1 mile.

This memorial park is really quite pretty! Small gift shop and museum with video inside, live performance outside and beautiful walk on the grounds. It was well worth our visit, plus it is free! I would definitely recommend it for visitors in the Bradenton area!

Trails well kept, well marked. You can do a short or long walk. Good number of places to sit and rest.

It has more of a feel of a city park than a national park in that no one has taken the time to really develop it. There is a small visitors center with a very affable gentlemen inside that is more than willing to help...More
