Burnside Plantation has beautiful old buildings/barns and a spectacular garden. Came here with my family (no teens involved actually) for the Blueberry Fest. It was a little pricey but I believe part of the admission goes to maintenance of the Plantation. My favorite part besides...More

Burnside is a great place to visit. House shows furnishings from 2 different time periods. High horsepower wheel,in Johnston Barn is also very interesting.

We enjoy this festival nearly every year! Blueberries in pies, crepes, and even the beer! This year we were honored to serve our beer. The Burnside Plantation offers other events year round. Always a good time while learning something new!

Though we have been to Burnside numerous times for other events today we were there for the Apple Festival. Great food and the gardens and historic tour of the buildings are not to be missed. Check out their website for all of their events.

This plantation has a guided tour of the home with tidbits of life long past. They also have a blueberry Festival in July with craft and food vendors. There are also things for the children to do.

Hi: There is no cost of admission except during the blueberry Festival then the charge is around $7.00 last year. The farm is nice to see as it represents how life was for the early Moravians years ago.
