I didn't know about the geo thermal pools until a desk employee at the hotel suggested it. They were beautiful, there was no charge and dogs on a leash were allowed.

Must see when you are in mammoth lakes. Small, lovely vally with a creek and different smell Wells with warm Water and 3 bigger ones. Very very nice.

Absolutely not. Its up a dirty road, the area is primitive. You need everything, water food, sunscreen, towels.

You cannot go into the water. The water temperature can get very hot! Upon doing some research, I read that the water temperature can reach up to 200 degrees. There is no fee to see the hot springs.
