Scenic course in the forest

Relatively new course in the middle of the Town of Mammoth Lakes. Trees line each hole so your most accurate club is mandatory. Challenging yet fun place to play.

Such a lovely location for a golf course. The staff are welcoming & very helpful. The course is stunning & has special offers to make it very affordable. There are also practise facilities to help one warm up before playing - nets/putting & chipping. There is also food & drink available. We were also fortunate enough to see a family... More

Love this place. Great golf course - a little quirky in spots. Some blind shots. It helps to play it a few times. The greens are always in great shape. The halfway house is great and you simply cannot beat the views. I could play this course every day!

We were on the Stay and Play package at The Village. We enjoyed the course so much we played a second day. The staff could not have been more friendly. The views from every hole of the mountains were spectacular. It is a fun course to play. It is narrow so accuracy is a must off the tee. The wood... More

This was great for the kids and they want to go back. Was about $80 for my game, 2 kids, 2 carts, club hire. I think The greens were airstef about 2 weeks ago and still slow and a little bumpy. The fairways were not perfect but it is a severe drought. Great first exposure to golf for the kids.... More

Being from the desert I love to play the courses with tall pines. This course did not disappoint. Would love to get another shot at scoring better. Golf was limited and this was tough even as a single to get on the 2nd day.

I have been to many gold courses around the country and Sierra Star is unique. Long narrow fairways and beautiful views! A must do if you find yourself in Mammoth!

We have enjoyed playing this delightful golf course a number of times. With the higher altitude, one has to adapt a bit as the balls do soar. The views are gorgeous. Its a fun course to play. in the stunning Eastern Sierras.
