Loved the stop here. Was in awe having watched the movie Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind as a child. A must for movie buffs. Don't bother paying the extra to go further up it though.

Breathtaking views. As you hike around the Tower, the perspective changes at each turn. Pictures fail to give true beauty.

It's literally at the bottom of the hill as you go to drive up to Devils Tower.
