I went straight to the top of the tower. Just underneath William Penn. The tour guide was full of info and funny. It is very high and you can see 3 states.

Was very impressed with this massive building. Could not imagine how truly huge the city hall is. You have to walk around it to see how immense it really is. The architecture is beautiful.

Philadelphia beautiful city, could not have a bad City Hall. The beautiful City Hall is a very well-maintained building. from here you can move to all the main attractions of the city. A few blocks from the historic city. I recommend the hotels nearby.

The grounds itself are amazing from Dillworth Park to all the statues to famous Philadelphians on the apron (what we call the property around the building). In the winter, there is ice skating next to City Hall. You can arrange to take a tour of...More

Nice landmark for taking photographs in Philadelphia. Nice shopping area around City Hall. Say hi to William Penn while you are there.

The entire process is really easy if you're just doing the tower tour. We did not do the 2-hour plus tour of City Hall although that sounded pretty cool too. The tower tour you buy your tickets ahead of time you do need to buy...More

I am a local and I work there. But the architecture is awesome as evidenced from both the outside and inside the courtrooms.

You can enjoy some of Alexander Milne Calder's Sculptures outside the building, in the ground floor court yard and in the passages but by all means take the tour. There's a lot to see. Don't miss the original marble Joseph Bailly sculpture of George Washington....More
