Overview
More
Yards Brewing Company has been proudly brewing in the City of Brotherly Love since 1994. We’ve grown from a garage-sized operation in the Manayunk section of Philly to Roxborough, Kensington, Northern Liberties, and now to our newest location - a 70,000 square foot brewery and taproom - at 500 Spring Garden Street. Philadelphia Pale Ale and Brawler, both nationally recognized ales, lead a balanced portfolio of quality, handcrafted beers including eight year-round offerings and several seasonal and limited releases. Founder, Tom Kehoe, and the Yards Crew share a commitment to supporting the good people and organizations making their backyard a better place to live and work. Here at Yards, it's always been about working hard, having fun and giving back. The Brew Unto Others motto reflects our commitment to quality, community and sustainability. It's also a call-to-action. We encourage you to get together, to enjoy our beer, each other's company and to Brew Unto Others every day.

We came here hoping for a tour, but brewery was under construction. Hung out in the restaurant area with two beer flights. Decent, although I think Yards is a bit on the pedestrian side. Tavern Spruce and Cape of Good Hope Best for my palette....More

We were very unimpressed with the whole experience. First you cannot pick your own beer flight. Second the food was terrible and some of the food seemed to be possibly reheated from the day before. The beer wasn't anything different from a year ago when...More

We are brewery enthusiasts and were so excited to try Yards. We were surprised to find a line to get in at 7:30 on a Friday night. We expected a relaxed, brewery scene, but found Yards to be more of a restaurant. You have to...More

This brewpub is bright and friendly. Seating is communal at upscale picnic tables - like a beerhall. Don't expect to have a quiet conversation! I recorded the noise level at over 90 decibels! There is a pricey selection of apparel and souvenirs for out-of-towners. Several...More

Thanks for visiting and taking the time to review! We do have off-street parking behind our building. The lot is accessible from 5th Street. Hope you make it back in the new year once we start tours at the new brewery. Cheers! -Gina at Yards

We stopped by Yards on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. Very nice tasting room with a good amount of seating. We took the tour, which was free, and definitely enjoyed it. The tour guide was informative and had a great sense of...More

Yards Brewery is one of my favorite stops when I'm in Philly. Not only does it have great beer, but the location of its closeness to the Navy Yards is pretty neat too. Parking is sometimes difficult but if you get there early enough, it...More

We had been told on another Philly tour to come here as some of their brews are close to what was brewed back in colonial times. We are not sure which one that was, but the place is really good. You are greeted at the...More
